Sometimes you just have to laugh at people’s gullibility. It’s either that or beat them to death with a big stick. The Register (and several others) are reporting this story of a woman who fell for the infamous “Nigerian Scam”, to the tune of $2.1m. Of her employers money. Ooops.

Yes, Davezilla has the link too, but I thought I’d still put MintyAss up here for people to shudder at in abject horror. The worrying thing is, I don’t even think it’s a joke. But I could be wrong.
It’s not unknown, after all…

Well, that’s about the most domestic I’ve been in a month or so. Shopping, Laundry, Ironing, Cooking, Cleaning – I even cleaned up some of my desk, and that’s a job I wouldn’t volunteer anyone else to do either.
Other than that, I’ve moved some of my plants to new pots, following the mass suicide of a few weeks back. What can I say? There were some vacancies. *Grin* The rubber plant is looking dead happy, the ivy’s kind of OK, but may need some more work, and the bamboo-like thing is still going ballistic – I may move that to a decently big pot next week. And yes, this does mean that next weekend (or one evening this week, depending how I feel) I’ll be off to B&Q or similar to rebuild my collection of weeds. So that’ll be fun – I may even take pics of them when I’ve bought them. Who knows?
Oh – and yes, I did feel the earthquake because I was still awake at the time. I know 4.6 isn’t much in the great scheme of things, and Californians probably wouldn’t even notice it, but here in the UK, yeah, I did notice it.
