Dead Can Dance

   Posted by: lyle    in Photography

Tonight I’m off to see Dead Can Dance at the London Forum. I haven’t seen them in at least five years, and I’m really looking forward to it.

No idea what to expect really, but with luck I’ll be able to get some photos.

And speaking of photos, I’m hoping to knock up some more photo pages over the weekend, when I’ve got some time to do so. Fingers crossed, and all that jazz.

A mini-review of the gig will go up tomorrow, when I’ve nowt better to do.

Another Step Forward

   Posted by: lyle    in Resolutions

One of the decisions I was going to be looking at as listed in the Resolutions page was whether I’d continue keeping my limited company active or not, and addressing which way I intended to head with it.

Some decisions still haven’t been finalised – such as whether any future work is done under a seperate company name as a “trading as” , or whether I continue to use the same company name as a “Trading As” without having all the guff of a proper Limited company. But one decision has been made, and has now been started – the dissolution of the Limited Company.

And I’ve just sent off the paperwork to get that sorted and dissolved. It’s a big step, I can’t deny – but I do feel that it’s the right one, and that this is the way it should go.

Driving Test

   Posted by: lyle    in Resolutions

Oh, for fuck’s sweet bleeding sake, I hate the DSA (Driving Standards Agency).

I’ve received a letter today, dated 5th April. (At least it wasn’t dated 1st April, I suppose) It basically says “We’ve cancelled your test on 12th April due to unforeseen circumstances. We’ve rebooked it for Wednesday 20th April instead. If this isn’t convenient, you need to tell us by 5th April, or you may lose you driving test fee”.

Which takes the piss, rather.

Cue a snotty phone call later, when my mood isn’t just to let rip with a tirade of vileness.
