Hmm, I’ve just done one of those decisions that’s either going to work out good or bad, and right now I don’t know which…

I’ve been offered a contract position – not ideal, but it would’ve got me out of the current company. However, it was based in Newbury, which would’ve been about a two-hour door-to-door commute, and the work didn’t sound that interesting.

So I’ve turned it down.

It’s just that at the moment I don’t know if that’ll have pissed off the agency I went for it through – although a lot of the problems with the job didn’t become evident until I’d interviewed with the company – so it’ll remain to be seen whether anything good comes of it or not.
