Psycho Cat came back fine in the end – although the General Anaesthetic leaves him a twitchy, drooling wreck for the remainder of the day.

The lumps turned out to be serious clumps of fur, from the look of it – Psycho Cat hasn’t let us near him yet to check it out properly. Whatever, they haven’t needed surgical removal or anything. No bad thing, as I suspect Psycho Cat would never forgive us in that circumstance.

So all’s back to normal – or at least as close to it as we ever get.

And tomorrow is another long drive, down to Oxfordshire for my father’s 65th birthday, and then back home in the evening. Joy of  joys.
