Hubcaps – Again

It seems to be becoming a bit of an annual event – the same thing happened this time last year – but once again I’ve lost a sodding hubcap from the car.

I don’t know how, I don’t know when. I assume it’s been to do with potholes, big puddles in the road and all that. But I don’t know for sure.

What I do know is that for whatever reason I seem to be really good at losing the sodding things. I’m pretty sure I’ve got a spare in the garage at the moment, but once that one’s used, it’ll be time to buy some more.

Fucking things.

Indeed – if I could find some that were long enough for the task, that’s exactly what I’d do.

SNAP! I lost one too and have been back to place where I think I lost it (pothole size of crater on moon) and no sign. Fecking irritating is what it is. HUGELY irritating.

And whats worse….I find myself looking at people with same car as me with pristine hubcaps and wondering would they notice if one went accidently missing…..

Ehhh you do know that cable ties just ‘zip’ to each other, you can string 2 or 3 together…

Yeah, that suddenly clicked after I wrote it, but I couldn’t be arsed to change it and not look like a twerd.
