I haven't had any thoughts yet. When I do, this will be the place to see them.
Be afraid. Be very, very afraid.

This seems a bit
harsh, just for singing Karaoke. He must have been
_really_ bad.

Sunday June 2, 2002 10:37 AM
A man was shot and killed by two men moments after
taking part in a pub karaoke session.
The man was shot in the White Horse pub on London
Road, Barking, Essex, on Saturday night.
The victim had just walked away from the karaoke area
towards the pool tables when two men entered the pub
and hit him around the head.
The victim fell to the ground and was then shot by
the suspects, who fled the scene.
The injured man was taken to Newham General Hospital,
but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
The victim, a white man believed to be 37-year-old,
has not yet been formally identified.
A Scotland Yard spokesman says the suspects are both
white men, about 40-years-old and of large build.
Officers say they are keeping an open mind about the
motive for the shooting.
An incident room has been set up at Edmonton police
station and anyone with information is urged to contact
the serious crime group working on the inquiry on
020 8345 4341 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Detective Chief Inspector Martin James, leading the
murder inquiry, said: "Anyone who was in the pub at
the time is asked to make themselves known to the
police. We would also like to hear from anyone who
may have seen the suspects in the pub."
