Yes, in this case I'm a total trippy hippy, and I'm very into things like Tarot cards. I use a standard Rider-Waite tarot pack, which seems to work nicely for me. I also use the William Blake Tarot Deck, which is more based around creativity and is regarded even by trippy hippies as "a bit out there".   Anyway, this was just a general reading, nothing special in mind, But it was interesting enough that I thought I'd bung a pic of it online for any other people who were interested in this kind of thing. Over the next couple of days I may even get round to typing out some of the definitions etc. (and in fact I did :¬D ) 1 - General Situation - 5 of Pentacles     Shows unforseen circumstances. A very dismal picture of poverty and also charity. As with other cards, it may not show what is, but rather give a warning as to what could be unless steps are taken to avert it. 2 - General Situation - 4 of Cups     The need to reach out for new friendships. In this card the figure sits under a tree, looking into the cups - or the friendships and relationships they represent - but is failing to notice that another cup is being offered from out of the blue. This fourth cup, this unexpected offer of friendship or love, could well be what the figure is looking for 3 - On your mind - 10 of Wands     Don't carry everyone else's burdens and problems. It's time to put them down and let other people begin to take responsibility for their own lives. 4 - Influences of the last 3 years - VIII - Strength     A pointer towards exercising your qualities of reason, rather than to respond with anger, injured pride or feelings of self-importance. The lion on his own can be a very destructive force, but when feelings are brought under the jurisdiction of the mind, then something more positive can be derived. 5 - Recent influences (the last year) - IV - The Emperor     The card points to our own dynamism, our own capacity to give ourselves a boot up the backside and get things together. No point in waiting around for other people to do things for us. We are the masters of our own destiny. No point in blaming others; that will just be a transfer of power over to them. Let's raise the energy level and get some action going! If we have to take some tough decisions, then so be it! Life, after all, is war! 6 - Influences of the coming year - Ace of Wands     A new enterrise being started. By looking at the surrounding cards, we could have an idea as to what. 7 - Doorway from the present to the future - XX - Judgement     Major transformative influences at work and home. The end of unpleasant times, relief from suffering or some tremendous pressure. 8 - Domestic Life - VI - The Lovers     Raises issues concerning your issues with others. Is there enough love in your life? How would you like to see more? Are you giving out love so that you might get it back? What kind of people do you tend to select as possible partners?     The card relates to emotional intensity and therefore commitments. Are you interested in establishing commitments, or do you just want to have a good time? 9 - Hopes or anxieties - IX - The Hermit     The Hermit shows us one possible way towards liberation of the human soul, ratjer than necessarily the only way in which that is achieved. Thus he could well lead us out of the rocky pass we find ourselves in. But we shouldn't be too quick to avail ourselves of what he offers us in it's place.     Caution is advised here, even if we do follow his lead and take the path of renunciation which he suggests. Essentially, we shouldn't rush at this point. Let us instead look at what other options there might be. 10 - The overview/any other business - XXI - The World     A very successful period is opening up for you. The achevement of an important objective in your life. Aim still higher, because the higher you aim the better. Dealing with the building blocks of reality.
