Two Months To Go

Two months today, and it’ll be Christmas Day. Two months and one day, and it’ll all be over.
Now, who’s to say that’s not a good thing? Not me, that’s for sure.
I’m sure it won’t be long now before the first domestic signs of Festive Tat will be out there, flashing cables on houses, manky lights across high streets, and so on. For now, though, I’m just enjoying the lack thereof.
The Manchester Christmas Big Wheel has just made it’s return.

The last two years I tried to persuade my wife to let me drape fairy lights across the front of the house arranged to spell ‘Humbug’ but she’s having none of it. Pity.
