As promised

Yes, I finally got round to it. The page for the photos of chester is now done and sat happily in the photos section.

And sorry, Jane, but there’s no pics of the Monkey House…

Who wanted to be a millionaire

Well, the people who wanted to cheat Who Wants To Be A Millionaire out of the top prize have been found guilty. They’ve also been fined between £10,000 and £15,000 each, along with court costs etc.

I’m not sure of how the fining thing works, because the case had already established that all the accused parties had debts already totally at least £20,000 each – so what do they do to pay off the rest? Have another go at a high-prize quiz-show?

Glastonbury Equipment

As a friend has just pointed out to me these are the perfect camping accessory for Glastonbury, and the multiple other music festivals this summer.

Getting out less

At long last, the first half of the second series of the West Wing came out on DVD today – I’ve already watched the first disc.

Yes, I need to get out more – but I’ve been doing that for the last month, so it was nice to have some down time…

Chester

Most of yesterday was consumed by a trip to Chester. First time I’d been there – and definitely not the last. Pictures will follow, when I’ve put the page together.

A bominable name

My favourite band of all time?

Why of course, it’s Bigfoot and the Groincrushers. Let’s get them into Google.

And another petard gets raised

On the same (sort of) subject as the post below, Microsoft has possibly been giving out dodgy copies of it’s own software. At a student conference, M$ gave out copies of Visual Studio .NET, clearly marked “Illegal without license” and no licenses. However, as this story shows, M$ don’t really know what’s happening yet. The tale is still ongoing, but should be fun to see how the M$ weasels get out of this one.
