Ah, the wonders of tag stripping…

I think it’s something common to recruitment people. I knew an employment agency manager who seemed to have no idea what these things called “paragraphs” or “the return key” were for – and it definitely wasn’t caused by tag-stripping in his case. Any memos from him came in the form of a single block of text, no punctuation, no capital letters, just a single stream. He presumably never did any sort of rereading what he’d typed before sending it, because rereading it would have been very very difficult.
