PCs

Over the last six months, every single new PC we’ve bought from one place has had a problem. We’re talking problems with build quality, components, the lot. The place that builds them is – frankly – shonky as shit.

So, when it comes to a “mission-critical” new PC for the lady who does all the accounts, all the payments, pay-roll and so on, and when a lot of the company’s life depends on that machine working properly, what would you do?

a) Buy a spanking new PC from a named-brand manufacturer (like Dell, for example) that offers an on-site warranty for the first year, and whose machines are – generally – pretty well regarded.

or

b) Buy it from the same bunch of shonky bastards who haven’t yet built a stable PC that didn’t need to go back for repairs.

Go on, guess which option Twunty Manager™ went for…

(I’ll publish his justification later, which should be good for either a laugh, or a gob-smacked “you what?” kind of expression.)
