600,000 – Achieved

Yes, D4D™ (just this bit, not the rants, thoughts, or anywhere other than here) now contains >600,000 words.

It’s taken nine months to do the last 100,000 words – actually (having been geeky and checked it – SQL’s ‘DATEDIFF’ command is great</geeky>) 274 days – which works out as being 365 words per day.

I knew that I’d been doing more longer posts (as well as still doing plenty of smaller ones), but this certainly goes to show how much more writing I’ve been doing here. Not bad at all. Nearly five years in, and still finding rubbish to write about…
