Preparation

Today, work is notably dull, with very little going on at all.

So I’m spending the day being productive, but in a d4d™ way, rather than a “proper job” way.

As such, I’m stripping out all the old shit, tags, formatting etc. from the old sections of D4D™ (i.e. rants, thoughts, and quite possibly even photos, if the day doesn’t get busier), leaving myself with just some raw content to play with.

Why? Because I’m thinking that D4D™ really should get a revamp/redesign in the new year, and this scut-work crud is the bit where I fell over last time, and just couldn’t be arsed with it any more. So this time I’m spending some time beforehand, laying down the groundwork, and hopefully that means that any redesign project should be a lot less effort than it would otherwise be.
