B&Q – Finale(ish)

I’ve just cancelled the order with B&Q. Now we just have to fight to get the wrongly-delivered stuff removed before we can get a refund on it. The tossers.

Never again will I shop using the online B&Q site. It’s crap. The latest chapter in the epic has involved dealing with a person in their customer services team – one who was apparently offended at the word “effing” (I got told not to swear at her – she hasn’t seen this site, obv.) and who tried to say the entire farce was my/our fault for ordering the wrong items.

Speaking slowly, I explained that we’d used the website, where order numbers weren’t entered by the customer. If the twunting fridgelickers couldn’t get the right numbers into their website, how was that our problem? The offer to re-do the order (I’ll put in the correct code this time for you” – patronising shitehawk) and still not get it delivered ’til mid-March was, shall we say, received unenthusiastically by myself.

So now we’re back to square one, and need to order 2 x 3m worktops. I wonder what Homebase can do to fuck it all up?

    shame ur not round ere lyle, I would gladly sort out your mess and at a much reduced cost, remember (u might not)i used to work for magnet and i also know a lot of staff at Howdens(MFI). But sadly, i aint buying said worktops and transporting em allthe way from bradford to u :p

    Obviously by your in controllable need to use language of such little intelligence, I assume, that if you would bother to sit back and reflect on the whole picture, B&Q do have problems with SFC and its a frustrating for the staff, (who try and help and such), They only do their job, its individuals not the whole B&Q, unfortunately its shallow small minded trantrum infused spoilt bratty people like you who just like to complain in the hope that you’ll get all your stuff for free. The staff don’t enjoy being abused by the likes of you, you really need to get a proper hobby!

    Obviously, Bunty, I can assume from your comments that you didn’t read the entire thing at all.

    I wasn’t trying to get stuff for free, I was trying to get the stuff I’d ordered – oh, and return the stuff that B&Q had delivered in error.

    B&Q have problems telling the difference between a black 3m worktop and a red 4m one – that’s not just my experience, it’s the experience of lots of people who dealt with B&Q.
