Big Drive

Partly due to the move, but also partly down to my requirmeent for some more storage of geeky stuff at home, last week I ordered a 320Gb Western Digital “My Book”, which arrived in time for the weekend’s shenanigans.

And I have to say, it’s a fantastic little bit of kit – I’ve now got all my music, photos, and documents backed up on it, and I’m debating what else needs sticking on there for preservation purposes (must figure out how to save my FTP settings for all the various websites – although that should be lessened with the decision to change to that reseller account) so I can dump all that on there next weekend when I’m back home.

Definitely an impressive bit of kit – and one I’ll find many more uses for over time, I’m sure – and for less than £100 all told. Can’t be bad.

Yup, I’ve found mine invaluable – same as you, it’s primarily for backup.
