Conference Conflicts
Posted: Wed 22 April, 2009 Filed under: Domestic, Geeky, WHC2010, Writing 1 Comment »I’ve already written about being signed up for going to the World Horror Convention in Brighton at the end of March 2010 – which sounds like it’s going to be an interesting event.
However, there’s also the Odyssey 2010 EasterCon for SciFi stuff, which has a considerable appeal to me – except it’s only about a week after the WHC. Bugger.
At the moment I can’t decide between them – I’m more of a fan of SciFi writing than Horror (in general) although I’ve got enough of both genres to qualify on either count, I suspect.
So somewhere along the line, I’m going to have to make a decision – because somehow I can’t see Herself wearing it if I’m away for the best part of two weeks, one after the other…
Well, EasterCon has the benefit of being Easter Weekend, so you’ve the bank holidays –
But I may be biased, that’s the one I’m going to 😉
