Kitchen Doors

And the delivery was due today…
Oh dear, oh lord, oh what a to-do. I don’t know quite how to break it to you, gentle reader – so brace yourself.
B&Q delivered everything. On time. And it all appears to be correct – even the kitchen worktops. My gob has never been so smacked.
It looks like (in fairness to them) B&Q have sorted themselves out in the intervening time, and now everything is bar-coded, and checked in a hand-held terminal before it comes off the truck. If there’s stuff missing, the terminal won’t let them make the delivery.
It makes the delivery a lot slower – they were sodding about on the truck for a good twenty minutes before anything came off it at all – but it means we’ve got everything, and it’s all ready to go.
So fair’s fair. In this case, B&Q has definitely improved, and upped it’s game. Despite myself, I’m impressed.

We had dry rot which was sorted out just before Christmas, it meant we needed a new kitchen and bathroom. We ordered both from B&Q at the start of January, we are still waiting for several items including the bath panel and some kitchen doors.
We had our bathroom and kitchen designed in store and placed the order, when the bulk of the kitchen arrived we found an E-Cloth had been added on at a cost of £8.95, this was taken back immediately and we were told by a member of B&Q staff that they are added automatically to each order to make extra profit!
We have been messed around half a dozen times by the Fulfillment Centre saying they are going to deliver and then ringing up at the last minute to say that they haven’t got our item in stock. At least they have called to let us know I guess, having read other blogs and forums it seems that most people don’t even get that!
I have just bought and had installed a kitchen from b&q-wot a fuking idiot i should have read these comments first-b&q are the biggest bunch of liars and robbin bastards -if a normal person robbed you they would get locked up-i just found out the cunts charged me £985 just to rip tiles out my fukin tiny kitchen the thievin twats and the service they provide was shite
