Weird Marketing

The other day, I got the strangest marketing email in a long while.

It’s from Apple, which probably explains a lot, but still, you’ve got to wonder when it comes to a subject/tag-line like this…

iPad or iPad mini. The perfect choice for Valentine’s Day.

I just can’t compute how that even works .

The additional image didn’t help explain, either.

    I was talking to a parent the other day who had just bought iPads for her 5 and 8 year old. “Everyone else around them had them and I didn’t want them to feel left out!”

    Some people have far too much money and no sense.

    The power of advertising clearly works. It’s not the message that’s important, it’s the exposure. And you’ve just added to it 😉
